Sardine

(sardina pilchardus)

The sardine is a blue or fatty fish - it has almost 10 grams of fat for every 100 grams of meat - and is a very good source of omega-3s, which help lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, as well as increase the fluidity of blood, which lowers the risk of atherosclerosis and thrombosis.
